About The New Property Purchasers Directory
In 2003 I was in a position to invest in two new properties with a view to renting them out. Whilst researching areas and visiting new developments, I was approached by an established Landlord who discussed with me that discounts were available from the developers when purchasing more than one property.
He invited me to join a group of Landlord buyers (explaining that I would remain an individual buyer but benefit from group bidding) to achieve this discount for my self.
But unfortunately they were not buying from the same development as me!
This got me thinking, if I could find, 2 or more other buyers (landlords or private) on the same plot, would we be able to achieve the same kind of discount?
My first move was to enquire at the sales office at the development as to whether a discount would be given, the answer was yes and all I would need to do would be to find these buyers!
Simple............I thought!
My search began through friends and family, to no avail. I tried web sites for hours on end, again no luck.
I continued with my 2 new property purchases, frustrated that by not being able to reach other buyers I could not form a buying group and achieve up to 20% discount.
Over the next few months I kept thinking about it, I couldn't help thinking that there must be thousands of people (like me) who would equally be happy to benefit from group discounts (while still purchasing individually) to save thousands of pounds on a new property. All they needed was to be put in touch with each other.
So the "New Property Purchasers Directory" was created, to give individual buyers and landlords a meeting place.
This web site is not just for people in the know it is for every one, you do not have to be a Landlord. Now you can actually talk to people who are in the same position as you are, not just relying on information from estate and sales agents.
